Anthony and Chad are co-founders of Lick Honest Ice Creams. They opened their business in the fall of 2011 because they wanted to offer “honest ice creams” to savvy palates in Austin. They use the word “honest” in their business name because they want to communicate that they use the purest ingredients in their artisanal ice creams. Since 2011, Lick Honest Ice Creams has been crafting artisanal ice creams with peak-season ingredients sourced responsibly from local farmers and food partners. They’ve come a long way since their first creamery in Austin. Today they have expanded to San Antonio, a food truck and their products are available nationally with the online marketplace, Goldbelly.
