OUR APPROACH

ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION

There’s a difference between change and transformation. Change is something that can be reversed whereas transformation is permanent. When it comes to work culture, our clients are clear - they don’t want to return to the status quo.

TARGETED
UNIVERSALISM

While it’s great to have a broad goal where “everyone belongs,” it will be woefully incomplete unless we design targeted interventions that give each employee what they need to be successful.

SOMATIC
APPROACH

Transformation is not fully realized until it lives within our tissues, reshaping our conscious and subconscious exclusionary behaviors into inclusive behaviors that create the conditions for belonging at work. This approach centers the people involved in our work.

MEET OUR TEAM

Rhodes Perry

FOUNDER & CEO

Ten years ago, Rhodes Perry (he/him) founded RPC with the commitment to upend the “epidemic of loneliness.” He wanted to help visionary leaders imagine and build belonging on a global scale, starting with the workplace. After all, the average U.S. adult spends 80% of their life (90,000 hours!) at work.

  • Since then, Rhodes has supported over 1,000 clients, delivered leadership programs and workshops to over 50,000 people leaders & managers, and has built a loyal following of over 10,000 people through the Belonging Membership Community and his company’s quarterly Belonging Circle gatherings.

Rhodes isn’t just an advocate for belonging at work; he’s a maverick in the truest sense. With two bestselling books, Belonging at Work, and Imagine Belonging, he has become a guiding light for organizational leaders, DEI practitioners, and visionaries committed to building cultures where safety, trust, and belonging are paramount.

Beyond his consulting and coaching work, he’s at the forefront of workplace culture building and particularly belonging discourse as an international keynote speaker and host of two popular podcasts, Imagine Belonging at Work and The Out Entrepreneur.

His journey is as diverse as it is impressive, spanning roles at the White House, the Department of Justice, NYC’s Administration for Children’s Services, and PFLAG National. His insights have graced the pages of Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and other notable publications. His company partners with industry giants, government agencies, and large nonprofits to foster workplace cultures that prioritize psychological safety & trust.

OUR PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS

To aggressively build spaces of belonging with our clients, we embody a set of core values designed to embrace our differences and unlock creativity, connection, & collaboration. We request that our clients put these agreements into action when we partner with them.

  • There’s nothing sweeter than the sound of our name pronounced properly and our pronouns used correctly. This action sparks the beginning of co-creating the safety and trust required to accomplish great things together.

  • We co-create innovative solutions by first inviting our clients to imagine new possibilities and blending creative problem solving methods with a spirit of saying, “Yes we can, if,” to help dream and manage expectations.

  • We move at the speed of trust by doing what we commit to do, proactively communicating obstacles that may require redirection, and honoring our respective boundaries of what’s possible, and what’s not.

  • We recognize that for transformation to take place we have to practice inclusive behaviors that might feel awkward and messy. We recognize that this work is a practice for the sake of practice, not to achieve the myth of perfection.

  • We acknowledge that mitigating our biases, particularly our unconscious behaviors, is hard, and we will mess up at points. We are committed to extending grace in these moments and repairing from harm in service of the relationship.
