OUR APPROACH

How We Build Lasting Change

Three principles guide every engagement — moving organizations from temporary fixes
to permanent transformation.

01

Organizational Transformation

There's a difference between change and transformation. Change can be reversed; transformation is permanent. When it comes to work culture, our clients are clear — they don't want to return to the status quo. They're ready for permanent transformation.

02

Targeted
Universalism

While it's great to have a broad goal where "everyone belongs," it stays woefully incomplete unless we design targeted interventions that give each employee what they need to succeed. This approach lifts targeted groups to level opportunities for all.

03

Somatic
Approach

Transformation isn't fully realized until it lives within our tissues, reshaping conscious and subconscious exclusionary behaviors into inclusive ones that create the conditions for belonging. This approach centers the people involved in our work.

The People Behind the Work

FOUNDER & CEO

Rhodes Perry

A man with glasses and a beard standing outdoors near a brick wall, smiling with crossed arms.

Rhodes Perry (he/him) founded Rhodes Perry Consulting (RPC) in 2015 with a commitment to upend the "epidemic of loneliness" by helping values-driven leaders imagine and build cultures of belonging, starting in the workplace. His early work focused on helping organizations transform the conditions that leave people feeling excluded, disconnected, and unable to thrive.

Over the past decade, RPC has helped over 1,000 clients and delivered leadership programs and workshops to more than 50,000 people leaders and managers across sectors. Along the way, Rhodes discovered that transforming workplace culture requires more than strategies, policies, and programs—it requires leaders with the embodied capacity to build safety, trust, and belonging through how they show up.

Today, Rhodes is an award-winning bestselling author, somatic executive coach, and organizational culture strategist. Through executive coaching, leadership development programs, and keynotes, he shares the Lead Embodied Path™ with values-driven leaders, helping them cultivate embodied wisdom and compassion—strengthening their capacity to navigate complexity, build trust, and create spaces where people can thrive.

His work is grounded in more than 25 years of leadership and advocacy experience, including roles with the White House, U.S. Department of Justice, and PFLAG National. Rhodes is the bestselling author of Belonging at Work and Imagine Belonging, and his forthcoming book, Lead Embodied, introduces the foundational framework behind his embodied leadership methodology.

Outside of work, Rhodes is an avid road cyclist, mountaineer, and visual artist. He’s a proud Virgo, lifelong learner, and adventure seeker who can usually be found planning his next mountain trip, making art, riding his bike, or gathering with friends for a Reiki share.

Elika (she/her) is a dedicated professional with experience in strategizing interventions designed to build spaces of belonging at work. As a seasoned executive assistant, she has coordinated with thought leaders like Rhodes Perry to implement cross-sectional programs that build healthier work cultures.

Her studies spanned a diverse range, with focus in fine art, anatomy/physiology, and anthropology. Eventually moving into project management for small business owners and teachers, here she began developing a passion for advocacy and equitable workplace practices.

Known for her collaboration skills and attention to detail, Elika excels in managing belonging interventions, from platform building and client concierge communications, to facilitating training sessions, workshops, and podcast episodes.

Outside of work, Elika loves to cook with and feed her circle of friends and family, adventure outside with her doggo, Ms. Uli, do a bit of art here and there, stretch it out in a hot yoga class, read as much as possible, watch a good movie, and grow all things delicious in the garden for creating a new recipe.

OUR VISION

We envision a world where all people experience love and belonging — without requiring the creation of an "other" for this fundamental need to be met.

OUR MISSION

We inspire organizational and people leaders to imagine and build spaces of belonging at work by establishing psychological safety and trust. We support our clients as they honor their commitments to developing and practicing new skills, while setting up the systems and technology to support their success. Combining targeted universalist strategies, somatic practices, and organizational transformation methods, our unique approach delivers the results your employees and customers long for and deserve — all while directly benefiting your bottom line.

OUR PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS

How We Work Together

To build spaces of belonging with our clients, we embody a set of core agreements designed to embrace our differences and unlock creativity, connection, and collaboration. We ask our clients to put these into action when we partner.

AFFIRMATION

There's nothing sweeter than the sound of our name pronounced properly and our pronouns used correctly. This sparks the beginning of co-creating the safety and trust required to accomplish great things together.

IMAGINATION

We co-create innovative solutions by first inviting clients to imagine new possibilities — blending creative problem solving with a spirit of saying "Yes we can, if," to help dream and manage expectations.

PRACTICE

We recognize that for transformation to take place, we have to practice inclusive behaviors that might feel awkward and messy. This work is a practice for the sake of practice — not to achieve the myth of perfection.

TRUST

We move at the speed of trust by doing what we commit to do, proactively communicating obstacles that may require redirection, and honoring our respective boundaries of what's possible and what's not.

GRACE

We acknowledge that mitigating our biases, particularly our unconscious behaviors, is hard — and we will mess up at points. We're committed to extending grace in these moments and repairing from harm in service of the relationship.

OUR VALUES

Our North Star

Our values orient us as we build more spaces of belonging — guiding our behaviors, actions, and priorities, and setting the tone for how we lead and work together.
